Scholarship Program

Purpose

The Elkins School of Art Scholarship Program is established to increase access to educational workshops for individuals who are actively serving churches, mission organizations, and ministry-related ministries but may be unable to participate because of financial need.

The program is designed to equip participants with creative, design, communication, and ministry-support skills that strengthen their service within churches, mission organizations, and Christian ministries.

Scholarship Assistance

Scholarship assistance is provided in the form of a full or partial waiver of workshop tuition or participation fees for eligible educational workshops offered by Elkins School of Art.

Scholarship awards are applied directly to workshop tuition or participation fees. Scholarship funds are not distributed as cash, are non-transferable, and may be used only for the workshop for which they are awarded.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for scholarship assistance, applicants must satisfy all of the following requirements:

  • Be actively serving in a church, mission organization, or ministry-related role. Eligible applicants may include, but are not limited to, missionaries, pastors, church staff members, Sunday school teachers, evangelists, ministry volunteers, church administrators, artists, graphic designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, worship technology team members, facility coordinators, maintenance personnel, property stewards, architects, designers, and other individuals serving in creative, communication, facility, operational, or ministry support roles.
